Patriot Acres sits about 40 minutes from Rock Hall, making it an easy afternoon trip before heading back to relax at Osprey Point.
Wine Tasting in Kent County
Wine enthusiasts should head to Crow Vineyard and Winery in Kennedyville, a third-generation working farm that produces a range of dry whites, reds, rosés and even a sparkling Vidal Blanc. The tasting room overlooks the vineyard itself, and guests can pair a glass with a charcuterie board made from the farm’s own grass-fed beef. Crow Vineyard is one of Kent County’s original wineries and sits less than half an hour from Rock Hall.
Spirits and Wood-Fired Pizza in Chestertown
No Eastern Shore sipping tour is complete without a stop at Bad Alfred’s Distilling in historic downtown Chestertown. Housed in a former garage and filling station, the distillery crafts brandy, rye, gin, and grappa on-site, and guests can watch the process through the glassed-in distillery space while enjoying a wood-fired pizza.
